Global Human Migration Patterns Analysis

Project Overview

Developed an application for analyzing global human migration patterns, processing over 100,000 data points. The project incorporated various Information Retrieval techniques including Boolean Retrieval, Phrase Query Retrieval, Probabilistic Retrieval, and BM25 to create a RAG-Based Model.

Integrated OpenAI API to enhance query interpretation, resulting in a 40% improvement in accuracy. This project was completed as part of a team of 5 members under the guidance of Dr. Rajiv Ratan Shah.
